New Beginnings.... and snow

So we left washington state on Feb. 12 at about 9 pm and started our journey to kansas.... after saying goodbye to friends and family we headed into the unknown.... all was going good until in wyoming we hit vast amounts of nothingness coupled with the dreaded snow whipping across the road to the point we could barely see anything, we thought we would need to stop but we made our way down the mt and than bam no snow!! Thus we countined our adventure...Making our way to Denver and beyond... than after switching on and off sleeping we arrived in Manhattan, Kansas ...our new home town at 9:30 in the morning on valentines day ...HUNGERY and TIRED we drove to our planned hotel .....and welllll K state had a big game sooo the hotel was FULL arggghhh and every restuarant was full of lovers getting breakfast so than we decieded to drive around and check out the town...We looked at a few houses and apartments but nothing we really liked untillllll we found our house a early 1900s 2 bedroom 1 bath all hardwood floors house... with a perrrrfect location one block from the park, two blocks from the grocery store , four blocks from the mall and four blocks from a walmart supercenter....We had found our house.... Now the only thing left was to have the army inspect it....would it pass or would our hearts break and our search go on..... well after two very worry some days we heard the news ...Yes it did pass!!! so we raced over to sign our lease and make this old house our home....
